Unauthorized use of CSU computing facilities is a violation of California Penal Code section 502. Any event that appears to violate federal, state, or local laws will be referred to the State University Police for investigation and recommendation.

This web server is only for academic use.  The CSU system does not allow hosting any commercial web sites on this server.  Any commercial web sites hosted on this server will be removed.  Web space and FTP access are only requested through class instructor for the whole class. 

All FTP accounts are only valid for the current semester.  Students who has FTP access for the current semester may not be able to update their web sites after the current semester.  Student web site will be removed after the student graduated from CSUDH.  Please make sure you keep a copy of your files.

All the sites under the student web server are unofficial sites of CSU Dominguez Hills. An enforced disclaimer is automatically added: "Disclaimer: The views and opinions expressed on this unofficial page of California State University, Dominguez Hills faculty, staff or students are strictly those of the page authors. The content of this page has not been reviewed or approved by California State University, Dominguez Hills."

FTP information:
Host Address/FTP Server Name: sws.csudh.edu

If uploading files using Internet Explorer browser, type in ftp://sws.csudh.edu in the browser address box. Do not type in the folder name.  When prompt, type in username and password.  Once connected, the student's web folder contents will be displayed on the IE browser.

Your FTP account will be the same as the one you use to login the Welch Hall student lab computer. By default, it should be the same as your Luminis/Pipeline account.  Your FTP username is in the format toronet\YourUserName where YourUserName is your Luminis account username.  Make sure it is a back-slash ( \ ) between toronet and YourUserName.  The system does NOT take a forward-slash ( / ).
